Jesse Short began playing the great highland bagpipes at the age of 14. Through his love of all things Scottish, he attended the Balmoral School and competed solo and with the band to become a fine piper.
Jesse is currently serving our country as a Corporal in the United States Marines and stops in to join KUPD when he is on leave. As of January 18, 2007, Jesse is on his 2nd tour of duty in Iraq.
His proud parents are Rick (KUPD Drum Sergeant) and Connie Clayburn.
