Keith Goins

Keith began his interest in piping after visiting the Dallas TX Highland Games in 1996. Upon return to Kentucky, he joined the William Sutherland Reid Pipes & Drums and was an active member until 2004 at which time he joined KUPD. The primary reason for joining KUPD he states “is the dedication to excellence I observed in the leadership of the band and their enthusiasm to achieve greater heights”

Keith resides in Frankfort, KY with his wife Laura Leigh and their English Springer, Lincoln. An avid hunter and fisherman, Keith divides his time between his love for the outdoors and his lifelong enjoyment of music.

Keith is currently serving as the Quartermaster for the band.
