Lance Dahl
Lance began drumming instruction in 1971. He performed on drum set, tympani, and was his high school drumline lead stick.
In 1985 he began playing Scottish drumming style. He has also learned Scottish rhythym tenor
and the Scottish bass drumming style. He has been instructed by Roy Lee Barbee, Carol Davis, Craig Colqhoun, and Wendee Dowell (just to name a few). Lance has been in competition on bass for many years and is qualified as an open bass drummer.
He is currently assisting in the drumline for Kentucky United Pipes and Drums with the midsection.

Additional responsibilities with KUPD include marketing, promotions and Drum Major (as this position develops).
KUPD is a very vibrant and forward-thinking group. In one year's time KUPD
has managed their resources, time, and personnel in a way that allows for maximum development in this coming year.
Lance is married to Kathryn and they have two wonderful children. "I could NOT do this without the support of my wonderful wife and children."
