Malcolm was an integral part of the piping culture in central Kentucky. He started at least ten beginning pipers who went on to play in both of the pipe bands in Lexington. He was an enthusiastic teacher and a great band mate. We will miss him long after this day. A founding member of Kentucky United Pipes and Drums and a tireless band booster, we'll always remember his cheerful outlook and wry sense of humor.
